Yeongdeungpo

Ok, so for my last days in Korea I wanted to see all the RLDs that are well known. 588 I've already posted about. After that I went to Miari but didn't enter, I was too drunk and it just didn't feel right. Plus I have to be somewhat sober to firmly but politley decline the ajummas offers.
However, where I did enter was Yeongdeungpo on a monday at around 9:30 PM.
In Yeongdeungpo station (Line 1) go down the stairs, towards exit 3, walk down the street, when the freeway is above you cross the street, turn right the first street possible. Here's a link I found somewhere to a map of Yeongdeungpo which is spot on: [http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=37...ight-District]

2/3 of the fish bowl tanks were lit, in about less than half there were girls, roughly 10 to 12 in total. two even called me, a foreigner, they weren't too ugly, however they were not my type. Most of the girls were somewhere over 30, some had stretchmarks on their belly. Again a lot of plastic surgery, but hey, this is Korea, right?
On the way to the western entry of the RLD I walked along the four-lane street. On that street are some shacks with a plastic front and women shaking inside, calling you out. Most of them are 40+, fully clothed, faces were not much to look at and they look pretty pitiful. All in all that area looks pretty low brow but then again you will find scrappy places like that everywhere in Seoul.
