Yes, agree with him that in such examinations for guys, the docs don't conduct a prostate check at all because it is just a small little pea shape organ located right inside n behind our penis...the prostate can only be checked by a doctor twisting his or her 2 fingers inside the anus hole to feel for it

...that is rather painful n is only needed when there is a serious condition there following a blood test

Just went for a yearly medical check-up somewhere in Orchard courtesy of my new company. It’s quite a comprehensive one with ultra-sound scan on the prostate and liver. Told the doctor that I kept having an urge to urinate but sometimes go to the toilet nothing much come out. She said she can do a check on my prostate. She puts on a pair of gloves and lotsa KY and ask me to lie on my side with my pants down. It’s a little uncomfortable at first but she kept twirling around it. Actually I should feel good but she’s actually quite big size so I don’t feel turn on. She also ask if I want her to check for testicular cancer but I said no need.

For hernia, they don’t feel your balls but the area above your balls. That’s where you pull down your pants and cough and they see if there’s a bulge above the groin area. Had quite a good experience before when i had suspected hernia where many female doctors check my groin then.

...just curious, the only thing new is testacular cancer as opposed to Prostate cancer...wats the diff n how is testicular cancer check done ??

Testicular cancer is checked feeling your balls for any lumps. For prostate, they will check if it’s enlarged and if it is, there’s higher chance for prostate cancer and this has to be done with biopsy.

Prostate is not testicle. Enlarged prostate is common for guys above mid-50s. Once you have it, you may have difficulty with urination. Takes a much longer time to finish and even then after you urine your bladder is not completely clear. Doctors do advise men to have more sex to prevent this issue
