If you want book the girl during ktv hour i think is the manager will open price..if you buy a drink and seat at the ktv area maybe u can ask the girl about booking them after their work

but then their work ends at 3am if im not mistaken and previously during my heydays there.. after the nite ends all those gals that got no bookings are not allowed to go out unless they can upfront some cash pretending they got a last min calls for booking and upon return they to pass the balance amont of the 1 nyt rate.. not sure if the management is still doing the same practice or they might have loosen the strings like you said..

I came on a clean tour to Batam recently with relatives & on one night we decide to go to ktv at hotel 89 just to drink & sang karaoke in the open bar.. at that point i noticed some pretty cewex gros there.

Does anyone have any ideas as what ae the rates there or if there used to be any unpleasant encounters with the gals there.. like to get some inquiry before i proceed there next week..

From the look of the tour bus at the entrance, i probably guess its going to be another not easy to book hotel and soon to be robotic-customer-orientated place. Just like what i see in Da Vienna hotel where when i ask for a extra towel, they took about 2.5 hours to be sent to me,hehehe...of course, i am not saying that is not good or bad. Just that my expectation is higher when it comes to picking my-kind-of-hotel.

Just look at how close this Parkside hotel is from Grand Batam Mall,hehehe...practically just a stone throw away.

My impression for this hotel, a little overly-priced. I will observe further in the near future when the peak season is over.

The noodle shops has been around for quite a while, its just that whenever i am there, i target the charsiew siok ba store 1st,hehehe...hence easily bypass the 2 noodle shops.

2 worthy mention would be the Bak Kut Teh store and Goreng Pisang store. Among all the Shuang Hong Bak Kut Teh stores i tried in Batam, the Astro food court one is the BEST,hehehe...

Have you tried the Carrot cake at the coffee shop behind Gideon Hotel?

They have carrot fried in duck egg,hehehe...interesting huh? Gonna try ordering from Grab food one of these mornings as they opens 630am and closes at 1pm (batam time). Duck egg version not available online tho.

Behind this coffee shop that sells fried carrot is another Mickey Mouse Bat Kut Teh.

I like the storyline of this movie, Joker (i watch it in Batam twice). And the lead actor actually brings out the key characteristic of the story VERY well. This movie shows 2 sides of characteristic in one single human being, "self-control" versus "releasing one's inner-self". Gosh! No wonder i would often say Singapore is Hell (to me) and Batam is heaven,and no wonder China banned this movie,hehehe...

Yes, there is a need to inform them. But well, so far i have not come across any hotels that do not need to inform in advance for shuttle service yet.

Its actually interesting that i sometime inform them in advance and then due to some issue, i have to cancel it. And they are ok with it too. No lost/damage to them nor to me.

Once you get along with those drivers a little better and if the drive to their location is along the way i need to go, they could drop me to those places i ask them to too. Example, going to Nagoya Hill Mall, they sometime passes by Happy 8 or Utama area,hehehe...becos the trip can be from BCS to Nagoya Hill Mall and then to Hotel. Then reverse the way back is another route.

I just take advantage of such free trips to go to where i need to go to. A small tip of 10k to 20k rupiah after several trips later can go a REALLY long way.
