Came back from Cebu couple weeks back.

Thanks to the guidance by all the bros here. I had a blast of a time there!

Think I am addicted to the place liao, haha! Looking forward to return in one to two months time.

One interesting thing I observed when I was there is that, when i asked the gals about their bar fines, their first question is usually where are you form before they tell me their bar fine.

I wonder if they have different bar fines for customers from different countries.

Any bros have the inside scoop?

The Philippine National Police is setting up the country’s first tourist police school in Aklan on Boracay Island. It will be called the Boracay Tourist Police School, and will provide a two-month training for policemen who will afterwards be deployed to the country’s tourist destinations. Such destinations include Boracay itself, Cebu, Davao, Bohol, Puerto Gallera, and more.

The school will be constructed on a 300-square-meter property donated by Commodore Leonard Tirol of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary-Western Visayas. A three-story building will house the school, and construction is scheduled to start in late 2013.

The reception area, administrative and maintenance office will all be on the first floor. One the second story, there will be three classrooms and an office. And, on the third floor of the building, there will be a dormitory and access to the rooftop, which will be utilized as a multipurpose hall.

Nearly 5.5 million tourists visit the Philippines ever year, and a sharp increase is being expected now that the European Union (EU) has lifted a ban against Philippines-based airlines. Later this year, Philippine Airlines is planning to start flying non-stop from Manila to Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and London.

Currently, the most tourists are visiting from Japan, Korea, the United States, and Australia

Hi Bro SBF, sorry to dig up this old trend. will be making a trip to cebu and hope to gather more latest informations from our sifu here as this might be a last trip to my once pilgrimage destination. Will be changing bearing to Indonesia as with the favorable exchange rates. Was there 2 years ago, the rate is R6200 and today rate R8100. Bro, go figure figure out. Just do not want to be in the middle of cowboy like golok 25 years ago, where you do your deeds upstair and clashes were around in the streets. Anyway, All my philippines did bring fond memories.
