nice sharing of thai amulets.By the way ,anyone here heard of "lushi" in chinese pronounciation as for the thai version ,im not sure!
I do not have the pic now but will snap a pic at the statue one day.
Its an old man with long beard holding a tongkat on his hands bedning its shoulder.Some ppl say it is meant for black magic but im not sure as in spore ,seldom see ppl worship.Its call "lushi" in chinese .Any idea ,anyone if can elaborate more!

u can go to the thai temple at bukit merah at hill top they have 1 there. Heard from my thai frd its a black magic ajan

Jus to let the bros know that today & tomolo at the Wat in Koon Seng road they doing some fund-raising activities with abbots from Wats in Thailand in attendance. Donate $30 can chow a JTK amulet....limited numbers available onli. Sorry I not advertising but just to pass the word of mouth thanks

Bro from what I know Lersis are not black magic practioners but more like Holy Men or Wise Sage....the term should mean hermit & even in ancient Buddhist scriptures these hermits were featured prominently. The most famous Thai lersi was Luang Phor Lersi Tafai who passed away last year.

Now can anyone tell me what is a LekLai? Read about this while researching on lersis but not much info more on this LekLai

thks bro,u maybe rite...it maybe a black magic ajan but i do hear from some sg frenz mentioned they are like a wise old sage in thai buddhism..like wat red tirak said "lersis" or lushi is a wise sage in ancient world..
but somehow i still have mixed confusion as to both!!

Yes, its a wise man whom ppl greatly respect. Heard he's the 1 who come out with the thai tattoo yants. (AM I CORRECT?)
