Domestic narrative : wait until LFC play someone decent
European narrative : wait until LFC play someone decent Jokes aside, must admit I too am very surprised thus far but also very delighted!! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Dave Fallows has left Liverpool. He was our head of scouting and recruitment for the past 12 years. Hopefully we can recruit better players soon. The last transfer window was a disaster

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Reading online about how our recent run of victories meant that criticism of our lack of signings in the last transfer window was unjustified. People have short term memories. What we lost in between the 2 seasons were Thiago, Matip and Adrian. We also lost almost the entire Klopp staff.
Our centre back options are VVV, Quansah and Konate. Joe Gomez is our backup for right centreback and right back. Conor Bradley is injured. Our midfield has been looking for a defensive midfielder for 3 transfer windows now. Gravenbech can't play the whole season while Endo is not playing to his style. We need a strong Jan window because we needed to replace VVD, Salah and TAA. We need to amass as many points as possible before the Jan transfer window ends. Once Feb kicks in, I forsee the media focusing on the pending departures of Salah, VVD and TAA. Just like how the last few months last season was focused on Klopp's impending departure. Can end up derailing our season.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We will know soon. Players who are supposed to be injured have reportedly arrived at the stadium. Dirty mind games.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Was not a good performance letting Arsenal Saka scored a solo goal 9 mins. Tot Reds defence was tight.
First set piece goal scored against defence again. Lucky Salah scored to earn a spoil.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
A fact for us Liverpool fans, we have 7 points out of 9 points from our last 3 matches - Chelsea (H), Leipzig (A), Arsenal (A) - in a rebuild season with a new fresh manager, less than 15 games in.
We had our starting striker and world class gk out, and a bench that had 5 players with less than 25 starts total! It was a fighting draw I'd be worried as an Arsenal fan about breaking down teams and that defence wobbling Set pieces immense |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Recently we are quite sad whenever Man U sacks their manager. ETH's departure is not going to solve anything when the players don't want to do well for the club.
Seems like Kelleher will be playing till end of Nov at least. Not sure which club will guarantee him the No. 1 jersey but if he is going to be fighting for his place elsewhere... remaining in Liverpool may be the best career move

as an Arsenal fan, I am not too worried. Set expectations low and you have no worries. Somehow, I feel that they still lack depth in the team in certain positions, eg defense and playmaker.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Interesting post bro
Can see where you coming from But think this season City look like they may finally be there for the taking However the challengers need to rise to the occasion Thought at the start of this season, your Arsenal team looked the real deal At the moment though they dont look all there, tbf your injuries aint helping Still early days.... |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Jeez...we can't seem to go out of the Carabao Cup even if we want to, lol
And with that draw we're probably in the semis...might as well go for it then, lol From the highlights looks like it was a good second half...great goals but how we managed to butcher that 3 on 1?? Also thought weird subs by Slot....why bother bringing on Mac, Darwin & Salah when we're 2 nil up?? And I did think subbing Quansah in the 90th minute was a bit...unnecessary We are one left back and one midfielder short at the very least. Hopefully these things can be rectified in January Seems like the drop off from Gravenberch to Endo is too big |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We go through to the quarter finals. We need another centreback if Slot doesn't trust Quansah. Quansah can self destruct with weird passes. His pass which lead to the Brighton goal is the same bad pass which Man U scored from.

with their current spate of injuries, Man City is at a potential softspot. Trouble is the challengers seemed to have self-imploded as well. Arsenal Spurs, Aston Villa all looked good but hit some hiccupp or other. Liverpool looks the best bet but they also seem to have a soft spot, defensive errors, lack of coverage in defensive midfield, Yup, still have 29 games to go.. Pep is a sly one. Even with injuries, he can bring out the best from the rest...
