I did nothing. Not worth it at all. India can only purely make momey and business. Save that money and spend it indonesia, philippines etc

Self service lho... I am seriously of bringing my own from indo or China if my trip there last more than 1 week... I would just need to fork out extra air ticket and shopping money anyway... there is not much to buy in India...

I too did consider that option, but after evaluating the maths and logistic ... too much hassle ler. First got to apply Visa (plus cost of application and the supporting doc), then the air ticket (around SGD 1K) and high probability that the ger will get super bored ... keep calling you for bonking or shopping.
