Bro, glad 2 know we share the same thought. Notice i keep addressing this so called LB as "he" instead of "she"? In my other posts, i addressed the other LBs as "she" but this one simply cannot make it.

30 men held in raid on three gay joints in Penang

PENANG : Police detained more than 30 men including two Thais during a raid on two gay massage parlours and a sauna in a shopping complex in Burmah Road here.

The two foreigners, in their early 20s, who worked as masseurs also offered sex services to men. A check showed that they did not have work permits.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Azam Abd Hamid said 10 men were caught gambling in one of the pre- mises during the raid led by Chief Insp Mohd Rozi Aziz about 7.30pm yesterday.

“We also picked up the operators of the three premises who were running the business without a licence.

“They had been operating for a few months. The sauna was especially popular on weekends.

“Some of the men, in their 20s and 30s, were released after being screened. The owner of one of the massage parlours may be charged with harbouring illegal immigrants,” he said.

ACP Azam said that if convicted under the Immigration Act, the owner could be jailed up to five years, whipped not more than six strokes and fined up to RM10,000.

“We will not tolerate any such premises especially those without licence. People with information on such places are urged to call the Rakan COP hotline (04-2691999).”

Gay groups seek change to rape laws

Gay-rights advocates yesterday called for laws to cover the rape and sexual assault of homosexuals and transgender victims.

They want legislation amended following incidents in which homosexual men have been unable to bring rape charges as a result of the "limited coverage of the law".

Gay-rights groups want the definition of rape in the Criminal Code expanded to cover homosexual and transgender victims as well as sexual violation with sex toys and other implements. Forced oral sex needed to be included also, they said.

Outspoken gay activist Nathee Teerarojjanaponse, of the Gay Group on Thai Politics, said sex charges were limited to those by men on women.

Gay men were victims of rape, too, but not covered by the law, he said.

National gay groups proposed Article 276 of the Criminal Code be expanded to include rape and sexual assault on transgender victims and homosexuals.

It needed to include non-consensual oral sex and violations with implements such as sex toys, they said.

Citing a report from the Kul Gay hotline, Nathee said sexual attacks against homosexuals and transgender victims were increasing and becoming more severe.

Many transgender victims had been raped and left with no legal recourse because police refused to accept attacks as rapes. Police described the attacks as "physical assault", which was subject to a lighter penalty on conviction, he said. The network will ask Human Rights Commission member Khunying Amporn Meesuk and Constitution Drafting Assembly first deputy chairman Seri Suwanpanont to consider their demands.
