it's always been a challenge. it's more obvious these days for various reasons. it's practically common now to just give up and go for something better.

On the third year of marriage, both the husband and wife quarrel and the neighbour listen


This is the joke that I used to receive in early 2000s about marriage life through email forwarding when facebook, smart phones, social media, forums are non existent during those days. When one person want to win another must give way. If both want to win with their own ways the outcome is divorce.

Majority of those that are here are coz they have an unhappy marriage life....when u married the wrong person...u will keep whining about how bad marriage life is....But the truth is, there are also happy marriage out there...

True, but marriage is like a casino with bad PR, in the real world casino promote fun and winners even tho most go in and lose money only a few win money, marriage is like that only the the pr we hear is fail marriage, only guy who lose, rarely hear about the few winners, but unfortuantely even the winners dont have fun, the winner talk abt raising up kids, companionship, doing washing and cleaning together balh blah blah really boring stuff

Definitely there are happy ones... perhaps it's the matter of mindset change. E.g. If sex is the biggest problem, not wanting to have sex may probably make the marriage work?

Marriage is full of good and horrible periods.

I'm going through a prolonged horrible period now and it sucks. Feel like giving up after so many years of trying to keep things together.

its never easy

I have gone through downs so low I was 1 step from walking into the lawyers office. And I had that same feeling daily

But you have to move on either in your mind and heart, even if you don't in person.

Modern Marriage is over rated and I see lots of divorce nowadays including myself.....
