For taxi.. one can also email Mr T taxi. 1k bht to pattaya. 900bht for return.

Nbz. .. thinking of making a short trip down in Dec. .. but the freaking air fare is so expensive.

Any contacts for arranging transport from BKK Airport (Don Mueang) to Pattaya? I find 1k Thai Baht still ok (if travel by highway), do not wan later go though e process of bargain

1 k asking a bit too much lah bro. I myself do pick up regulars upon request only but I dont pick up from DonMuang.
The reason is becos taxis want earn return trip but I only pick up one way and travel 2 way for total distance of 300 + km. My vehicle is a 3 ltr turbo so my diesel cost for a return trip is abt 500 baht. Tolls cost almost 400 baht. For me to travel that distance taking probably more than 5 hours in total to earn a paltry sum just do not make sense.
For regulars..I normally ask them to give me what they normally pay taxi. So from Suvarnabhumi if a customer give me 1k..means I earn a princely sum of 480 baht..as diesel is abt 400 baht and tolls 120 baht return. Its honestly not worth my while as its a 250 km return journey. As I say..I only do it for regulars upon request as these guys understand and give me back much more. For me its just an added service. Hope you understand.

Forummer LoL just gave you lead to Mr T. You can try this outfit based in Pattaya (2nd road office opp soi 10). Private cars in house fleet or outsourced. From Swampy to Patts thb1000, return 900. From DM, pay more (think thb1200) due to distance.

Soi6 is not ordinarily into this commute buz, so can understand his not so economic return empty handed with 3-4hrs turnaround. He'd rather go mess up some puying, to make his time more worthwhile

On side note to those yearning to pop by Dec, yo it's kinda high season for flights. Up to 2 weeks ago, Thai Airways had this promo 260-280 return incl taxes (beats budget rip off pricing). But kns, I checked 1 week later ...sold out, with only regular pricing 450-480 for Xmas period.

Want bombard me go ahead lah..I already many times say I am a bum in Pattaya who sell beer. Many have visited our bar and I appreciate the business. My overall mission is to try to lure more sinkies..malaysians and asians in general to Pattaya. Its not just a farang stronghold as most people think. Pattaya has a lot to offer. If they enjoy here they will come again..and I hopefully benefit also financially. I have nothing to hide.

Many sinkies have PMed me saying they drop by our bar to show support. I on the other hand try my best to accomodate their requests and queries. I sometimes offer to show them around. Hope everyone stay here is memorable. No hidden agenda for me.

With me..what you see is what you get..I upfront with everybody and may even be blunt sometimes. But I have made many new friends and I thank you all for your support.

Very true here. Once a customer asked me to picked up him and his crew. I did. They had asked me to send them back airport on last day also. The night before I messaged him to confirm departure time. He messaged back saying no need as a girl found a cheaper taxi. Basically implying I charged too much.
I was totally flabbergasted because I had not asked for any specific amount. I only said just pay me whay you normally pay. This is one reason now why I do not pick up anymore as I do not want misunderstanding to arise.
