He bashed foreign construction workers for no reason.
Student Daryl Lim Jun Liang, 18, pleaded guilty to assaulting Chinese national Zuo Yu Nian, 48, near Block 289, Yishun Avenue 6 at around 6am on Oct 3, last year.
He committed the offence with three accomplices - Tan Jun Liang, also 18, and two 15-year-old boys who cannot be named due to their age.
A second assault charge, stating that the four teenagers bashed Indian national Selvaraj Madankumar, 27, on Sept 21, will be taken into consideration during sentencing on March 12.
