Anyone can enlightened with regards to Thaniya Japanese Street? From YT video it looks like you choose a girl and go into a shop. I had the impression you go there to dabao to hotel.

Never been there before but from what I know. You can straight away choose and tabao but the bar fine may be higher than if you first patronise the establishment

Could someone explain to a newbie what's the clubbing scene at Bangkok like? My impression is to go early, get a table + drinks and just chill and invite some chicks over? By clubs I mean the non-local type like RCA, Terra etc.

If there are a lot of FLs there, would it be like thermae where you just go in, pick one and get out?

Not sure about nowadays but during my younger days clubbing in RCA / Thonglor is basically open 3 bottles or more or open premium liquor the waiter will give you a table at a prime spot with all the girls. Be friendly smile and talk and they will come. I use this trick all the time which is to tell the girl I'm interested who is near my table if she mind taking care of my table while I go smoke / toilet. Then invite her to your table to enjoy your alcohol. Then when the lights open, either supper or more drinks somewhere else or back to hotel or her place if you are daring.

When you enter each ktv , u will be told by the papasan/mamasan about the prices.

There are simply 2 options.

1) 700/800baht for 1 hour unlimited alcoholic drinks , 200baht for each drink for the girl u selected to sit and drink with. Of course u can also choose to open a bottle there too if u are a regular.

2) u can straight away tabao girl back Short time or long time ( with indications from papasan who are the ones who can ST/LT .U will also need to pay a barfine for that.

This seems very noob.

For clubs, this is iam guessing like Onyx, Spaceplus, Muin, Route66, Sugar, Levels. If your on the weekend, most likely need to go early to get the table. Depending if you get VIP (require to open a package, for example 15k baht) or just open a bottle for a normal table. Then, you can walk around and try talking to some girls to bring to your table (highly unlikely unless your Andy Lau) as they could be blocked by their friends. Just go get their contact and then try talk to them after. The best way is to open a VIP table and try and bring some girls from their table onto the VIP table.

FLs clubs doesnt work like Thermae, its like a club and hunt normally or girls approach you.

Thanks for your insight. Then most likely just go take a look. Don't enjoy drinking outside of comfort zone. Unless can find someone I get smitten with

Just went to Onyx during the last trip. I went to Thermae picked up one girl then went together with her there. From what I observe, most people went there with their friends, not too many FLs inside. You can give waiter some tips and ask them help you settle the girls, but whether the girl they bring will stay long with you will depends on how you act after they come.

Last minute impromptu trip to bkk for 1 week today. Been awhile since i went and seem much changes around.

Solo trip and no plans where to go but drinks for sure a must to soak in all the good vibes. Anybody want to get together for some drinks and chill? I got no plans on girls at the moment so going to see what my mood takes me too
