Gold label not bad for me la, pretty smooth, no hangovers, and very cheap now in bkk! Usually mix with water. Go clubs no choice, cannot drink neat or on the rocks because cheers 1 time, must refill 1 time, lol. A lot of places have special promo on Gold label. Sangsom killed me many times lo, very fast to get high but will make you vomit also if dont control your speed. Last time I puke was because of Sangsom at phuket. Bought the bartender a couple of drinks and he was pouring me Sangsom 'under the table' the whole night, dont drink also paiseh. Puke until see girls also no feeling.

Gold label is good enough and relatively cheap in term of quality. BTW I was just taking Sangsom as reference, it is rum not whisky but Thais refer all these as Thai whisky

Try Hang Thong, will give u worse hangover than Sangsom.

Thai whisky is good, at least u know most are real. Too many fake imported whisky in Thailand.

I won’t straight ask for the girl contact, I.e LINE ID. Just go to them cheers and try to open some convo. If the girl comfortable with you, then yes you half way there to be friend with her.

It is a pub and restaurant environment. So it is pretty courageous of him to just walk up to them in an environment where you can hear one another speak clearly. He must be able to keep the convo going, coming up with things to say non stop to prevent any awkward moments. Clubs will be easier as there will be no awkward silence. The thing is I dont think normal thai girls are very very difficult to up. But the method of approaching them straight up without having any kind of association significantly reduces your chance. It doesnt matter who you look like, you are just playing against the odds. If you have known them through apps and chatted with them for some time, and letting them know you are coming to bkk and they happy to meet and hang out with you, and you treat them well like a gentleman, your chances significantly goes up. Thats my experience, and I am no superstar lookalike.

Despite his courage, I dun think this guy bothers to go & make gestures (like smile or cheers to them) to see whether the gals interested in him or not. Plus the notoriety of Korean dudes over there, the Siam Bus might think that this guy is trying to hook up wif them directly, which might be offensive to them, if they’re not WLs (or part time 1s ). Just to share, Thai girl are really like what u guys said, naive and watched too much kdrama.
I've know this thai who worked as waitress, she's married and divorced 2 korean husband in a span of 3-4year. The drama ain't as Good as what it seems like. but the ajumma u see in those show are real. They are real bitchy and shitty. The korea cultural are quite bad as well. No offence.

I think the naïve thing abt Puyings (& even Puchais) is that they hav this blind optimism abt almost everything, something like self-fulfilled prophecies thing, which TBH, doesn't work 1/2 the time 1. That's y u see that most Thais r quite cheerful & happy-go-lucky kinda peeps, even though their life & their society on the whole can be quite F**ked up. N they tend to always take in only the gd news & disregard the bad news 1 . Haiz, I feel bad saying this oso cos personally, I find that this is the good (& bad), alluring things abt Thai culture la. I think that 1 of the things that differentiate a stupid person from a normal person is the ability to discern btwn Reality & Fantasy. By the way Mercs is cheap in Thailand, especially most of them buy 2nd hand 3-4 years C class only around 1 million baht plus, and condo 1 bedroom only 2 million or lesser depend which part of Chon Buri.......So confirm very big part is sponsored by khun Robert.
