Pelita, Seruni, Puri Garden, Royal, IVH - range S$35-60
Rest are wisma style of hotel - range S$20-35

Oh.. Hmm.. I only been to Sphinx the last time I went to Batam. FL there pretty Chio leh... So u suggest Planet is even better. The last trip I stayed at Formosa, I presume that's the melia type.. hehe...
Personally think that Melia and Mandarin quite good from past experience. IVH, Seruni still a bit away in terms of quality of room. But all depend on budget :P hehehe
Farmosa should be somewhere in between though I never stayed there before :P
