I think too many bro are flying there even ourthe flight tickets there are getting more and more expensive as each year pass dont you guys agree? Prob the air flight companies also notice that

Back when AirAsia just went into operation a Singapore/Bangkok return flight can be as cheap as S$80.00-100.00 during promotion period.
But those days have to pay THB500 departure tax at Don Mueang Airport.
Yes these days Jetstar's Singapore/Phuket route is more economical.
Air travel to Bangkok is getting more and more expensive over the years.
1 month ago I've to resort to old school coach travel from Johor Bahru to Hatyai then Hatyai to Bangkok.
A total of 13+13 hours!
No choice I poor man.
Years of hardcore cheonging have depleted my savings.
Have to budget otherwise not enough Thai Baht to cheong puyings in Bangkok.

You really mean Phuket vs Bkk (LOS = all of Thailand)? Comparison for Phuket only valid if you not do peak season ie Dec-April.
Sure, fares up not just due to inflasi but also fuel prices. Recall CX to Bkk return could be had circa sgd250 in off peak periods. Back to present, SQ today has special promos to Bkk for 360 (to June).
