Definitely not for everybody. Just went there on Friday, with 2 other friends, one of which is Thai.

We basically bar-hopped the entire stretch, but it was quite fail. The little stages have anywhere from 1-3 girls (except the last one we visited; the one closest to Saphan Kwai with the projection TV), and they don't seem to rotate very frequently. Prices of beer also not standard between joints... they actually vary very wildly. First joint we went into, think it was 'For You', a beer (large one) cost 320 baht. I think the last one we went into had the very same beer for 100 baht. Either way, the place is really cheap.

Didn't try the girls though... everything we saw was quite CMI. To put it in another way, I wouldn't do any of them, with any of yours'. Ended up hit ~12.30am and we moved to contingency B: head to Nana.

No idea what soi it is on exactly, but if you're coming from Sutthisan/LLad Prao, just follow the road straight down towards Saphan Kwai, and you can't miss the neon lights just before you hit Saphan Kwai. Alternatively, from Poseidon on Ratchada, turn left at the red light and keep going straight until you see the neon lights on your left.

Estimated travel times in Bangkok are dubious at best. There are just too many variables. Day/time/driver/traffic/weather/etc. Also, you didn't state which go-go area.

Congratulations you've uncovered the "neighbourhood" KTVs. All the unpolished gems for your choosing. Thousands of such KTVs in BKK. It may be low class setting but a little bit of generosity goes a long way in such places if compared to "higher" class places.

You get a less commercial feeling if compared to the usual Sukhumvit bars.

These days being storming the FIBUA hideouts in communist territories such as China and Vietnam. Unfortunately incurred some damages by pickpocket commandos in China. Damn!
