Many WLs ended up changing their flight date due to the closure.
Actually they should not book their flights until they have cancelled their cards.
AV can decide to close even one day before the actual Wed.
AV won't care whether you book your flight or not lah.
Her OKT already knew of the AV closure before 1st Jan.
It is their own house communication problem though.

From hindsight, perhaps you should check with her on Friday whether she has actually left our shore before announcing her departure.
