I was Naive (Story)

[Starter]

Glen was my classmate and he was really the kind of quiet guy in class, you know those that will just sit in class and seldom talk. But he is ok and we were sort of like hi-bye friends.

Glenn: Yang, I have something to ask you.

I looked at Glenn with a puzzled look thinking what could Glenn possibly need to ask me? Glenn indicated that we should talk alone and I was cool with it and went walking with him to the foyer where we started talking sitting on the bench.

Glenn: Are you and Gloria going out?

Me: No! Who told you that?

Glenn: Then why she come and find you?

I explain the morning details to Glenn and he looked relieved, and he started to confined in me. Telling me his little secret, he was interested in Gloria!

After hearing that, I urge him to go after her. ( what's the point liking when the other party don't even know. I already considered myself as a experienced maestro in relationships that time) Glenn was afraid of rejection, and did not know how to go about doing it, so I as a friend volunteered to help me. And his eyes widened asking me how?

It was not a hard task for me, first we need to let her know. I got off the bench asking Glenn to follow, and we went to the canteen looking for Gloria. I dragged Glenn towards Gloria and tapped her on the shoulder.

Me: Eh Gloria, Glenn like you leh.

Glenn did not say anything but hi when I nudged him, and Gloria stood up and left

Glenn: Now how?

Me: She never say no right, later I help you ask again.

Recess was soon over and we returned to our class, I went over to Gloria's classroom pushing her for a reply.

Me: eh Glenn really like you leh, give him a chance lah.

Gloria: are you too free?

Me: just a chance what also not asking you to accept him now.

The teacher entered the class and I still stood at her table.

Gloria: Go back to your class first we talk later.

That was a positive answer as I sneaked out of the classroom briskly and re- entered mine giving Glenn a nod as I walked passed him.

I do not know if any of my readers did this matchmaking shit before, but to me it was fun. More interesting than class, the next break I went over and found Gloria again and this was what she said.

Gloria: can you stop coming over to my class?

Me: You give Glenn a chance then I will stop coming.

Gloria: If Glenn likes me, why are you coming? Shouldn't he be coming?

Me: He shy mah.

Gloria: Go back to your class I don't believe you.

I walked back to my class and I spoke to Glenn about my conversation with Gloria, he was disappointed and told me to forget it. I shook my head and patted on his back: She don't believe then we make her believe.

I asked Glenn to write notes that I would help him pass to her, ( actually he only write the contents were all from me) that went on for the rest of the day at every interval of each lesson. And by the end of the day I was hauled as a hero by Glenn as he has gotten Gloria's pager number.

Glenn: thanks Yang, Wah you really good at this.

Me: Ah Bo.

Glenn copied Gloria's number onto his phone book and pass the slip of paper back to me.

Me: You give me this for what?

Glenn: I thought you helping me?

Me: Eh Glenn, pager number get for you already. the rest you talk yourself.

Glenn: I never do this before, you help me talk lah. (Next time you also never fuck before will you ask me to fuck for you.)

Me: I got time then I call for you. but you must page her ok.

Glenn gave me a smile and school ended, I left class and head to the canteen where I paged for the girls before heading to Bishan to meet them.

No bro.. i have started reading from beginning.. but went offline as i went overseas (limited time to read).. by the time i come back its already 70+ pages!! So i rejoin from there..
