Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Latest rumour from ESPN is Pedro from Barcelona - Pedro has limited playing time with MSN around, so he wants to leave, and has already asked Suarez about life in Liverpool. Personally I don't think Pedro is a world class striker - he is a sub in the Spanish national team. Higuain is also linked with Liverpool but he is too expensive ($50 million).

Guess it's ok. Bacca's not cheap. Altho he's a proven player with Sevilla, im not so sure if he will do well in epl. Cuadrado struggled in his 1st season with Chelsea.

I have my doubts abt his capability too. I'm afraid he might end up as another Borini if he joins us.
Somehow Pool can only attract 'semi-marquees' in the 20-30m range. Maybe it's largely cos of our spending policy that we won't want to splurge more. I would love to see 'impact players' like Pogba, Vidal, Aguero, Hamsik etc.
But if u look at Arsenal, they did great business with a coup like Alex Sanchez and rumours are they are close to signing Arturo Vidal.

Pls do not visit the point exchange groups giving the impression you are keen to exchange points but disappear after one post. Or promise to return points but did not do so after months.
Min 5 pts for exchange.

Tbh don't think Liverpool can afford true marquee players under FSG. It shall only happen if we get a true blue mega big bucks owner. I think Larry Ellison would be the ideal owner, just look at the way he put his $$$ into winning the America' s cup. Alas wishful thinking on my part though.
Btw does anyone know why Higuain is not at the current Copa tournament?

Ur wish might just come true FSG are in advance talks with a arab consortium based in spore. FSG playing hard ball cos they want the arabs to help market red sox in that part of the world. So keep ur fingers cross.it might just happen.

What I would like to see from the manager is give each and every player that he had brought to be given a fair chance to play. If he can play Bolettelli so many games I can't see why he can't play Borini as well . Also The manager should devise a system of play to utilise the best position of the player. No point you play the player not in his natural position. I suspect BR still walking a thin line . He need to provide results in the first 6 games of the new season. If not he will be the first casualty of the new season. Now Liverpool needs a DM as well as a proven striker to complete his transfers.
BR is gone if we get new owners.

Hope it all works out. Actually this could not have come at a more opportune time as I gather the Bosman Ruling lawyer has a case pending in the EU courts challenging Uefa's financial fair play rules with Uefa already coming out to say that it is going to relax the same.
