Somehow or other I am not surprise that Liverpool failed to win yet again. I wonder how long must the fans wait to armless chicken being replaced ? Sadly he is costing Liverpool games and points .

The big news however was that about 10000 fans staged a walkout on the 77th min of the game in protest against rising ticket prices for next year season.This is the first time I have seen such a protest from Liverpool fans at Anfield.

Proud of the young boys, glad to see the return of Sturridge, Lucas/Ilori CB partnership was surprisingly not bad and Coutinho's clever free kick goal was a peach!

Sadly Benteke's confidence looks to be totally shot to pieces. He actually could have had an extra time hat trick.

Oh well, the FA Cup ain't what it use to be, so not much loss there.

Focus must now be on the EL and that Wembley visit coming up soon.

Finally, I hope Daniel learns a thing or two from Klopp's professionalism of returning to work so quickly after surgery!

Even the Old Boys like Jamie Carragher & Roy Evans were seen joining the protesters in the walkout.

The FA Cup is the competition you would want to win especially when you are desperate for European soccer next season.

Benteke was much better when Sturridge and Origi came on and probably this lad needs some goals to boost his confidence.

Lets see what happens in the Europa League.

This is only just the beginning . I heard there will be more protest across England from the other clubs. If FSG do NOT review the new ticket prices more protests will definitely come from the Liverpool fans. Personally I see no need to increase the ticket prices since FSG is going to receive a lot of revenue from TV coverage ; advertising and gate collection this season. Look out for the matches of Manchester City and Chelsea .

Glad to see the injured players coming back . Hopefully Sturridge will remain fit .

We need to strengthen our midfield. Our young guns were good in the cups matches but in the league and europe it is a different story.

Sturridge did really well when called upon to play. Without 90 minutes since October 2015 he was outstanding and that nutmeg was a reminder of his talent.

When he was about to come onto the pitch the noise was too huge that local residents came to the windows to observe what was that noise for!

Desperate for CL football next season, definite yes.

Desperate for EL football next season, definite no.

If Liverpool can't get CL football next season, which looks likely now, I rather they then stay out of Europe altogether and just focus intensely on the EPL next season.

Breaking News :

FSG had decided not to raise ticket prices for at least another 2 years. Good for the fans at Anfield who don't deserve to pay more when the team is playing badly.
