i wonder if the Liverpool vs Dortmund game is available on DVD? would love to watch it over n over. Dortmund was a gentlemen team, no park the bus defending, no bad tackles, just straight forward attacking football.

Dortmund made a mistake of attacking too fast too much in the first half, when in a football game it lasts 90 mins. in the 2nd half, after leading 1-3 and Pool made 2 substitutions, Dortmund was slowing down and cruising with 30 mins to go. the 2nd goal by Coutinho inspired the Reds to push harder.

As Klopp says the team needs "Character" in times like this and they did not disappoint the Kop fans. the rest will go down in Liverpool history as one of the greatest games at Anfield. even King Kenny was seen weeping in joy at the end of the match.

Klopp: "Very often in football life, a game is over [at 2-0]. Not here, not with this Liverpool team, and that’s great to be a part of." I hope Pool can keep Klopp in LFC for a long time to come and make him a legend. In Klopp We Trust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suddenly we have shortage of midfielders now.

Lucas Leiva & Kevin Stewart are both back from injuries but still not up to speed yet and lacking in match fitness.

Maybe Klopp can convert the gorilla into a defensive midfielder since he is useless upfront. At least at DM he can use his size to intimidate the opponents.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is set to be out of action for four to six weeks due to ruptured ankle ligaments.

The No.23 picked up the injury during Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final victory over Borussia Dortmund at Anfield.

Can was substituted in the closing stages of the 4-3 win which saw the Reds progress to a last-four meeting with Villarreal.

A return before the end of the season has not been ruled out for the 22-year-old, who has made 46 appearances so far in 2015-16.

Very bad news on Emre Can. Joe Allen shall now come in, probably together with Lucas but I think Can added a different dimension, unlucky for both Can and the Reds.

Btw not only was King Kenny spotted crying and singing YNWA on Thursday night, also saw Ian Rush and surprise surprise Roy Hodgson singing YNWA as well! Wonder what Brendan was doing on Thursday night ?!

Not to worry.... the Liverbird is a submarine hunter.
In WW2, British defense scientists build a prototype plane to hunt the German submarines and based its design on the characteristics of the Liverbird. Although it never saw production as the war ended but the Americans took the design and improved on it to build their submarine hunter planes.

It's smart strategy to give up on the BPL as there is no chance anymore of getting into the CL from there. So JK is using it as a platform to test his fringe players while keeping his best players fresh for the challenge in the Europa League. Smart guy

10 changes from the previous game with 6 academy players in the starting lineup, bold move by Klopp notwithstanding the opponent being Bournemouth because this is the EPL afterall.

What I found very positive was that notwithstanding such a drastic shakeup, the shape style and identity of the team remained the same which seems to indicate that Klopp has already made quite a big impact with the whole squad and not just the regular senior players.

Very happy to see Daniel playing at such a high classy level, unlucky not to have finished with a hat trick. Hope he now remains fit and strong because we need him at this level against Villarreal.

Shout outs to Allen, Ibe and Ojo who were good.

Only downside last night was what else but our shaky defence. Klopp really needs to tighten things up at the back if we are to get past Villarreal. Lucas also looks even more slow now than before, which is another big worry because of the injury to Can.

Onto the local derby next!
