any updates on balai's hotel? any good recommendation? other than maxmillion... thinking of paradise or padimas... any hotel with activities and facilities like pool?sauna? jaccuzzi?

2 yrs liao since i stepped into batam. now was like a dead town. i dont know was it bcos of the puasa but my guess was the casinos are no longer there. was good to be back to batam and eat my fav food.
05 oct 2006, 1505hrs: the day before my batam trip, i was activated 2ntm by my bacarrat kakis and packed my barang and rushed to my leisure world cruise. it's been a long time too since my last visit. the sea was rough but i managed to tahan the seasick. from tanah merah terminal to go to my cruise i had to transfer ferry at nongsa jetty. the stupid thing abt this trip was on my way return from the cruise i cannot enter batam thru nongsa jetty. i had to go back to sg and took another ferry to batam. sigh... anyway, back to the cruise. on the crusie, changed $500 worth for chips and went makan first then straight to barcarrat tables. then i one table attracted me and i bet on it. there was this guy that kept betting at $500 and $1k chip and kept losing caught my attention. so basically to warm up for the nite, i kept betting his opposite bet and i won $200 in within the next few rounds. then this loser stop betting and i bet on my luck. i started good and shortly this loser follow my bets and lost and balance about $300 chips. sian liao... and i took a break and went to eat again. spotted another good table and start betting again. luck was good and with skills and patience i managed to increase my chip value to $600. then one of my kaki lost all his $$$ came over to me and distracted me and soon i left only five $20 chips. cursed and swear, i took a break and came back and finally lost all. took out my reserved $200 and changed to chips. switch from "god of gambler" mode to "go of technical" mode. i bet with extreme discipline. in the win and lose cycle... i and finally left 2 $20 chips. took a break again and went back to the table. with great patience and concentration, my 2 $20 chips, rolled to $660. i was relived bcos it just passed midnite and i still have 6 hours before the first ferry. quickly changed back to money and left $160 chips to continue for the nite. took another break again and went back to the arena. i was feeling good but lady luck was mean to me. it was a tiring and brain draining nite bcos i cant afford to lose and i need extra cash for my batam trip. then after some time i left $80 of chips. another break time and i came back to the table. switch into my god of technical mode again and with great patience and skills, i managed to increase my chip value to $280 and it was 5 min past 0400hrs. brain drained and luck no so good, i decided to stop and called it a day. i spend the rest of my time playing jackpot and hope to strike the $15k grand price. wow! wat a day! counting my winnings and change back to money, i made a profit of $60 after less-ing my epenses fo the trip. took the first ferry back to tanah merah and quickely bought another batam ticket and board the same ferry again. ha ha! those ferry crew saw me bought again smile again. ha ha!!! 06 oct 2006, 0805hrs: sleepless for the nite, i left for batam.

Beating him up will not get your $$$ back. Worst, you might end up in jail or if he happens to be a top martial arts expert, you'll stand to lose more...
