Yes, u are correct. it's in the news. "Officially" all entertainment should stop during mourning. No NEP, no Cowboy, No massage, No Sex.

Was at cowboy just now also to settle some work issues. Anyway it's rather weird the way it was done.

Firstly the bars at cowboy/NEP were told to on the lights/ no dancing / etc. Girls changed back to their clothes but still on standby from the police notice. Customers/tourists still flock in unknowingly that bars will be closed.

Sale of alcohol continues as customers are also allowed into the bar with exception of dancing. Apparently there was no strict regulation for tonight as some bars still have girls in coyote uniform. As well as some bars playing music/dancing with doors closed.

From the way I look at it, messages coming in non stop since the news, many g club girls / coyotes girls are worried about being unable to work for the next few days/months.

Food on the table/car loans/housing loans/ as well send $ back for family suddenly became a issue for many TGs. Everyone start having thoughts of going overseas like SG to work. Quite a sight to see many TGs in this industry living on daily income and not having any savings. Some even have to advance cash from agents/boss to pay for transport back home tonight.

Good news for those who have contacts of Thai girls as they are more likely to go with u in times like this. At cheaper rates probably too. No doubt clubs/bars will be closed, there's lot of uncertainty this round. More info would be known tomorrow.

I am just going to sit back and watch the Chaos that may follow.

It looks like the Thai Govt did not smoothly plan what will happen with entertainment industry - different sources about how long it will close, which places can open, and what places can offer. Maybe that's the normal organisation there.

May be lots of Chaos after the Prince, who is not as beloved by Thai's, becomes King, what Gov't position the Prince may award his pet Poodle "Foo-Foo" (who is already an Air Chief Marshall), whether the Military retains its allegiance to the throne, or back to Democracy, whether he will restore democratic processes or retain Military rule, Thai economy and Baht in view of all the changes and Chaos. It is also known that the Prince is not fond of tourists and backpackers, and could restrict entertainment options.... Too many things to speculate. So many questions now, and no answers.

Best not to plan a trip to LOS until all of this resolved. It is just a probable to have a smooth transition, as it will be to have more riots, or even strife and war. Not a good time to be in Thailand now.
