From what I have read so far FSG is doing such solely on the business aspect . FSG will be saving at least 30 million euros if they sign him next year . With expectations running high this season Klopp better win something and qualify for next year Champions League . I also believe that Coutinho will be solf if Barcelorna met FSG's asking price . It is apparent no point to keep a player who does not want to play for Liverpool anymore . So now Brazil says he is fit to play for them hmmm .

Barca has offered near to 150 mils. If agreed, Coutinho will be the 2nd most ex player after Neymar. With this 150 mils, Liverpool can spend on VVD and Lemar.

Gabriel Jesus was signed before Jan 2017, actually around Aug 2016 and allowed to finish off the Brazilian season with Palmeiras before joining City in Jan 2017.

On whether other clubs were interested in Naby Keita, think they were but can't recall at the moment. Anyways Liverpool were probably more concerned that they may lose out on Keita next summer, similar to what happened viz Mahmoud Dahoud last year.

BR and Klopp are on different levels and it appears that FSG seem to hold such a view going by the way they seem to back Klopp thus far.

Finally, I say let us judge Klopp not by this season but by the end of next season(18/19). That would be 3 full seasons and I think with Keita and maybe 3-4 other key players in place(without losing any other stars apart from Coutinho), we may at long last get #19 & our first EPL title.

Believe in Klopp la..... the way modern Football being play is all about pace stamina and strength. Look at the players Klopp buy recently..... you will see y? Skills come good if you are fast like Ronaldo. If you are slow you will be tackle hard and frustrates you. Liverpool this year is weak in defending. That's y a strong goalie and a strong Defence will be nice. Klopp buy lots of midfielders as he likes to force opponents to use Long balls so as to by pass the midfield. As the midfield is full of stamina to run against them and break on the counter.... given the opponents no choice to reach the Defence area. Just my 2 cents worth.

I play Soccer also but you let me met a Super speedy winger and full of stamina. I let him pass man.... I will die after 15mins............

Klopp still need to solve Liverpool's defensive woes and Liverpool still haven't face teams that triple park their bus . On top of that Liverpool is competing in all 4 competitions .
