You are really lucky. I went to Moresby to look at some stuff but 4 of us were robbed with parangs. Next day had to hire guards with guns.

was lucky as a few contestants of mixed parentage took part. The winner had her German dad n local mother present. The grass skirt is their national costume. All topless !!!

The people are the most friendly on planet earth. There are some young people roaming the street to give their own a bad name. One thing is the law. Enforcement by the police is virtually nonexistent, leading to private Secruity business become a big money earner. Also Asian are easy picking. They target us because of a history dates from 1830s when the first Chinese step into the country. Just be circumspect in going around town. It is really safe. It is not like Singapore but I have no problem taking a walk on my own.
