Well.. If the authority can advise people to refrain from wearing too many jewellery to prevent robbery, i think it works the same way.

I do my part by telling my GF and female colleagues to avoid dressing too skimpy clothes - just to prevent unnecessary incidents.

hello, this is 2007. women can wear whatever they want to wear as long as it is legal in public. and it shouldnt mean they asked for it if anything bad happens.

about the guy who held the kid's shirt on the ground like a hero, will this hero be so garang or brave if the one taking picture is a big size pai kia with tattoos all over his body and arms?

i can understand the anger if someone takes picture of his girlfriend secretly or w/o approval in public, but i also believe in "taking on somebody your own size". he can always call the police to deal with the kid.

Interesting thread but there are lots of "uncertains" revolving this whole incident.
Whatever happened......violence is always wrong!
It is an offence to intrude a person's privcy by taking photo without permisson but this does not warrent violence.
It does not matters if the wrong doer is a kid or an adult, I believe the proper reaction form the jealous BF should be to detain the culprit and refer him to the authorities.
