she was served with a 2 year ban by ICA. which means she wont be able to come in from any checkpoints at all within the next two years.

I thought so too ... that's why I ask if lazybro is married or pending divorce ...

coz if it's the either case ... then his gf's really in deep trouble because of him.

they can banned on the ground that she is coming in to disturb or break the guy's family ... that's what happen to my friend's gf, 1st time come with him okie, subsequent entry, they refused entry her and banned her 1 year ... and also nearly happen to me , luckily mine was fully dissolved.

if it's not the above reason, then the problemlies with the gal.

im single la.. they just reject her on because they accuse her of coming to singapore to work.. they didnt not ask her for my contacts, just because she frequently come to singapore. but she is with me all the time..

is there anyway to appeal? what should i do bros.

anywa i want to know if this ban is the same as the one where WL is caught and banned from coming to singapore or if this is just a normal tourist ban..

Normally .... if they think/accuse her coming here to work , they will only reject her from coming in and will not banned her and 'chop' .. I believe BROs here will agree what I have said ....

What can you do ???? APPEAL .... APPPEAL ... APPEAL and APPEAL ... until they decided to lift the ban and allows her to comes in ....

same or different, how can we commend ? the type of ban is determined by them ... they can classify as the same class or it could be different class ...

Generally the fxxking ICA never can see black and white, last time time they are afraid we bring the matter up to higher authority but now they don't care because our goverment make them feel they are they boss we are servant.

Hi bros, I have a fair bit of experience with ICA and AV laws on a daily basis. I do not work for them by the way. I know the law. Enough clues about myself. The best way to appeal to ICA is not to do it on your own or go to the MP. The entire ICA set up for visa approval is computerized and there is a complex computer program with many perimeters to decide who gets a visa or not. All by your friendly ICA computer. It is only during an appeal, it is considered by a human being. Before you even appeal, you must first check the background of the rejected party with ICA. This can be done through a lawyer. Then, let the lawyer do the appeal. Contrary to popular beliefs expressed in sbf repeated appeals that failed severely reduces your friend's chances of coming in. PM me if you need clarification if u r too shy to post.

I guessed they replaced the 'letter' with the 'chop' which I guessed it might be constitue to a serious ban ....

This is precisely what I meant. Instead of guessing, get someone to check this issue with ICA directly.

To be ban a number of yrs is definitely much better than perm ban or being blacklisted..

There is still hope of her returning once the ban is lifted..

There are also a no of categories for blacklist..

So if the stamp reflects as 6x's, there is still hope.. For WLs, they are being ban for a year or two most of the time..

Get someone ??? Who is the someone that can let ICA reveal why they ban her ????

Husband = Maybe ... Other People = Ask until cow comes home you also won't get answer ...

To be precise, get a lawyer to liaise with ICA and to appeal. For some strange reasons, ICA will not review reasons except through a lawyer. Not even to the MP.

In addition, ICA always give a standard rejection letter when some one apply for visa and failed to obtain one. They also give a standard letter when you appeal for someone who was banned to reject the request to come in.

ICA will only respond to your lawyer if you are under investigation or prosecuted by them. If you have no pending case with them and is still outside of singapore, they tell your lawyer go fly kite.

They cannot suka suka write you love letters.
They have SOP to follow and these "standard" letters are drafted, checked & vetted by the Director so everyone have to use this format cos ultimately he is the one answerable.
