Lyon's Malouda admits Liverpool admiration

France winger Florent Malouda has described Liverpool as a 'great club', increasing speculation the Lyon player could make the switch to Anfield.



The 27-year-old is one of a number of reported targets for Reds boss Rafael Benitez in a summer overhaul, although he has also been linked with Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan.


'There has been contact with Liverpool, although I don't know as yet if they have shown their interest directly to Lyon,' reports The Sun.


'People make their decisions based on the different leagues in different countries but I would rather decide based on the club. And Liverpool, why not? It is a great club.'

Erm ... didn't you know that Thompson was the reason God got kicked out of the club by Houllier??
Plus the fact that he was dismissed by Souness as the reserve team coach in the early 90s showed that this man has his own agenda ... he doesn't really live for the interest of the club, so unlike God himself.

Dun know wat u mean, but I wasn't joking or being sarcarstic or anything. Of course things could have been better, but we did improve over last season as a whole. Well, we finished 3rd this season and was in CL finals, so not too bad in my books. What is more important is the team is improving and getting better and it augurs well for the future.

today..when i flipped the paper..the rumours is getting worse... the odds that Thierry Henry making a switch from the Emirates to Anfiled had been slashed from 10:1 to 3:1...

I guess must be our fans... displaying the cheeky sides of them...

imagine..Henry in Anfield..which i think is very unlikely... i also do no want to see Cashley Cole part 2 in Anfield....

TH at anfield??? ya saw the report today too, either the fans being too cheeky if not, must be some agents who want to press for higher pay with barca or ac for TH haha......but have to admit he is good player though....but just dun believe he will play for another EPL club other then arsenal
