Ok, I think you can try to go on holidays with your bffs. Spend more "I, me, myself" time as 2 months may not be enough for you since you are still missing him somewhat. Give yourself the space and do not think about him in that manner that you still miss him. Think of him as a good time that you have invested in. Time can never be brought back. Move on.

As for the numerous dates, there is no right or wrong. Just a matter of appreciation. Think it this way, at least you are still getting dates? Importantly, don't try too hard with the next relationship. Learn to relax and see the good and bad of your date. I suspect you are looking only for the good in your every date just to replace him or the memories of him. No way that is gonna happen as everyone is unique.

Your biological clock is ticking and thus you may involuntarily fall into the "looking for significant other" syndrome while not allowing yourself to be fully immersed in the date itself.

Relax, chill and have a cuppa. It will soon be over.

Think I mentioned this before, when I started this thread earlier on, I really didn't expect all these support. I was just really depressed and wanted an alternative outlet to vent. I have my friends and sister but this relationship never got their approval right front the start and so when I got my heart broken, I didn't want want them to see that they were right.

The support here has been amazing and so many kind sweethearts shared their stories and that provided me so much comfort knowing I'm not alone in this. I never expected to have so many pple caring for Fion. And I'm so thankful & blessed that they do. This support helps me move on & of cos sbf helps keeps me occupied. So thank u, yakuza & everyone else, u all have been too kind

Just like a frd of mine, she has 2 dotters but 1 ..her 1 side ear is deaf.. she maybe deaf but she has a nice family whom stay n stand by her. Her younger sis of 7 yrs tell her " sis.. i will stay by ur side n be ur ear".

U have lost ur love but im sure ur family n all ur frds will be there for u. Love will come find u when d time is right. Cheers~

I quite agree with this statement
At times, when we are into relationship, friends, or even close one (like family or 'sister' or 'brother', may reject to it.
So when the rs turn out sour or bad, we can't go to them, as they will say something like 'See la... told u before liao... he/she this this this... that that that...'
So one way is to go to a forum, and vent out... Seeking advice from others... It may not help, but at least can see different advice from different people, and can help cheer one up

yeah kinda, my sister doesnt judge la but she will say you should've known better. i always knew what i was in for, just that i wanted to take a gamble n see how things might turn out (YOLO rite) but cos when you play a losing game, you lose

Agree.... No doubt u know they mean well, but those "I-told-u-so" statements just aren't what u need, at least not at that point in time. Guess that's the reason y some of us are in the forum.... At times, the simple action of typing out the bottled up emotions is in itself a sufficient release....
