I have no concern about Pattaya. Been there quite a number of times.

I am concerned about my first trip to Cambodia soon.

I will be making my virgin trip to Pattaya. I have booked to stay in Billabong Hotel and thinking of travelling by bus from airport to Pattaya.

I gone through and read the thread and understand to take Bell Travel bus from SVB-PTY for B200. I also saw from the airport website there is a S389 Airport Pattaya bus from SVB-PTY for B134. The website states the S389 APB is a collaboration between the Airport and Bell Travel. This statement makes me confused.

Are both of them the same bus? Why is there a price difference? The bus stops at Pattaya Bus Terminal and we have to change to a van to bring us to our hotel, do we have to pay for the van trip?

I took Bell Travel from BKK hotel to Pattaya for B345.. I guess SVB-PTY is cheaper, but B145 or half cheaper from your above quotes?

My trip was like this, first they got a van to pick me up from hotel then to their Bus Terminal, jump on bus terminal then stopped at SVB to pick up more people, then straight to PTY bus terminal, then another van to drop me off at final PTY hotel..

Maybe you want to call them just to confirm.

If cash is aplenty, email or call Mr. T Taxi. Airport to Pattaya hotel is 1,000 Bahts. If you can find someone to split the bill, that would be even better! The driver with your name card will meet you at Gate 3. If no traffic, you can get to Pattaya in 90 minutes and starting your bonking early

I am budget traveller

Stay at budget hotel.
Travel by cheapo bus.
I seldom barfine and prefer to pickup gals.
There should be plenty of horny females scouring the beach for toyboys around this time of the year.

I am not going to BKK. My journey is direct from SVB to PTY.
Anyway I have a reply from the airport to my email.
If book through Bell Travel counter pay B200.
If book through Airport counter pay B134.
Both are using the same buses.

If i'm not wrong, the additional money bell travel charge is for the van transfer from the bus terminal in pattaya to your hotel.

think 134bht only gets you to the bus terminal in pattaya, then you have to neg with either baht bus or motorcycle to get you to your hotel.

There are some Pattaya hotels which Bell will send you for free from and to Pattaya terminal transfer via minvan...call & check with them if your hotel is one of them or you could check what are the list of hotels which they go to for free in their website...if your hotel happens to be nearby their designated hotels could also consider to lobang and then walk abit...

You should have taken the van from Victory Monument if you were in BKK. Only 120 baht each way and saves time as it goes to Patts directly.
