Hi Samsters

Thks for the so many posts regarding my budget in BTM.

As spoken by many it is not the way you spent buy how happy when you spent it that is important, agree all bros?

I have stayed in BTM for over a mth and spent about less than 500 sing dollars. Hotel Bali gives me a good corporate long-term stay rate and I am happy there doing some small business there.

If ur long-term weekly Btm dwellers, may be good to rent a room there. It costs only around 500000RP a mth with aircon/shower attached. It is located within the Chinese community (if ur Chinese) and the owner will also take care of yr room when ur away.

I advise bros not to keep ceweks in BTM. Heard many flirt around with their abangs when ur away in Spore working hard for yr money. They just spend yr money away having fun with their guy friends there. I have heard too many casualties there.

Nevertheless of course there are good stories of Spore guys here marrying a nice Indo gal and started a family there. Kudos to them and I wish them all the best.

I have recd many PMs from bros here on advice about BTM locations. I may not reply on the day but will definitely log on during weekend here to reply to you. Work here have not allow me to cheong with you bros out there this week in BTM. Thks for all the invitations to meet up...cheers.

Sori i may have posted wrongly. I meant that I have ever stayed in BTM for a mth and spent around 500 Sing and stayed at Hotel Bali. It is around 100000RP per nite standard rm for Hotel Bali. Now i dunno abt the rate there. When I stayed there was like 2-3 yrs ago.

YA i went Bintan last yr and wasnt a very nice environment. Heard many hotels and karaokes bankrupted due to the drop in tourists there. There are also not many Sporeans there.

Its like a ghost town at nite and you have to ask the tour agency or hotel to endorse yr return ticket paying them a rate of at least 30000 - 50000RP. I find this ridiculous.

I will stick to BTM though it is a bit expensive.

Something I don't understand here, you said you spent S$500 for a one month stay in Batam. Your room rate in Hotel Bali was Rp.100k per nite, so 30 nites x Rp.100k = Rp.3,000,000.
S$500 = Rp.2,500,000. Exchange rate 2-3 years ago was around Rp.5000, so what happened huh?!?

Guess i got gd discounts plus i left for Spore on off so i spent around $500 for a mth stay there in general. It could be around 3 weeks there in total hotel stay. Exchange rate then was better around 6000-6200 RP per dollar.

Will b probably staying in Gabion (Balai) on May 4 for 2 days. Departing frm Tg. Kukup. So if anybody wants to meet up, the more the merrier.

Yes, It is not advisable. They come batam to make $$$. So when you are not here in batam, they can go and look for others. hell knows what STD they will pass to you. If you got family here liao, as I know some do also, like me. Take care of them properly. Life is slower here and less stressful and you really get to enjoy life. Cost of living is much cheaper.

Hi Bros,

Well its been almost a week since our return from our Balai trip having stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights from the 28th April to 1st May.

The trip was a very relaxing once albeit physically stressing on our didis

Nothing really eventful happened that was worth mentioning in the FR.

However we did go to a new pantai called Bongkar which is not a bad place compared to Pelawan which is where we used to go normally.

The nightlife in Bravo wasnt that bad,

On the first night we were there, 28th April, we saw lots of FLs in the discos. Bochuns and myself had our own ceweks and couldnt really go after them but some of those FLs were really cute and sweet. We saw a couple who looked damm sweet.

2nd night in Bravo didnt have many FLs...surprisingly it was a Sunday and we didnt know why. But on the last night (Monday) the FLs all appeared again.

Day time in Balai we went for our usual massage at 'BEST' and did some shopping around town.

On our last evening, Bochun and myself even went for an hour long facial costing us 60K haha.

All in all it was a good trip and relaxing one for our burn out brains from work in sillypore. We are really looking forward to our next trip in end May.

Hi I typed 500 000RP la maybe you din check properly - anyway it is ok as Indoensian money all comes in thousands and millions

Sometimes I also got confused. Once I mistaken a 100 000RP note for 10 000RP and lost 90000 RP in the process when I make the purchase.

I am glad that you have a family in BTM. HEard many bros married nice Indo wives and personally I think they make good wives too.

YA I do agree that BTM presents a nice contrast to Singaporean lifestyle. The life here is stressful and meaningless. I foresee many more of our future generations migrating out of Singapore and many foreigners coming here to work.

I visit BTM occasionally to relax and destress. Once Sunday comes I will be very moddy as that means I have to left peaceful BTM for manic Singapore!

Yup! Reminded me one of my sexpedition at Balai. Pissed off with my gil services. Some more demanded tip to go back. In a state of fury, I accidentally gave two pieces of RP100,000 instead of RP10,000.

She would then bring my ppt for express clearance. Some more I manage to rabba her buttock with my hand discreetly at the ppt ctr. Thats for the tipping. Kekeke...

Ya some custom officers will hint for tip so best not to do it in the first.

BTM is ok i guess as too many International visitors. I dunno abt Balai or Batu...
