Went to Waterloo street to pray at Guanyin temple this afternoon. So happy to get to eat the famous green bean soup. It's been a long time since I last ate it. Was there many times but they were either closed or sold out. Today the green bean soup was sold out 10mins after i bought mine.. lucky me!!
Zheng Xing Mei Shi (正興美食) serves only 4 types of desserts.. green bean soup, bubur hitam, bubur terigu and tau suan. Their green bean soup is different from the norm because it is thick with coconut milk (your choice), not the soupy kind. The stall is at Albert Centre hawker centre.. just next to Fu Lu Shou complex. They are open only on tues, wed, fri and sunday. Note that tau suan is NOT available on tues

I eat dessert together with meal.

Realised before the stall is open for business i see snake of long queue customers waiting patiently for their turn. Fatt Kee basically sell Peanut Porridge Chee Cheong Fun Fried Bee Hoon Bak Chang & Yam Cake. I can say their bee hoon portion is very small. Their prices are propertionally lower.
