Fatt Kee basically sell Peanut Porridge Chee Cheong Fun Fried Bee Hoon Bak Chang & Yam Cake. I can say their bee hoon portion is very small. Their prices are propertionally lower. Introduce food suitable for ah gong and ah mah. The noodle can replace with mee tai bak and fish ball can cut smaller pieces before eaten.

There are many many many friends staying in the east who kept recommending that I come by to check this place out.
What confused me when I really came by was to be hit by 3 stalls with "almost" the same name at Bedok Simpang Market Carpark area.
There used to be only one original stall and the rest are sprucing up to share the famous mee pok crowd.
Anyway, at this stall will be Lau Lim himself cooking. (I heard sometimes the Chinese helpers will cook)
Since I am here first time, I could not find a price menu while the order taker was assuming I know what i wanted so I just ordered a large mee pok dry with chilli. I mean how bad can it be? Oh Mistake #1 Price for Big is $7! ... Mistake #2 When the collection tag beeps, I saw the portion to be pretty big...

Anyway after I collected the food, I started to dig in.
Due credit to be given to the fishballs which are bouncy and springy while the prawns (though not big prawns) are good bites. Noodles are also well cooked with the pork lard and condiments mixed with the dried mee pok.
Personally, I found the noodles too light that I got to go to the side counter and added more chili sauce, cut chili...and also some pork lard pieces.
The serve here did not really catch me on this time. Also it is a tad pricey and so I probably will go for a medium portion when I come the next time.
Anyway, did I mention many folks in the east swear by this stall?
Any eastside friends to share your opinions ?
