Have been reading this thread with great interest.

Helped a friend to compose an sms, not sure if it's right. Appreciate any advice/input:

"Anh nghi em khong co hoi anh that. neu em co ong xa/ban trai khong sao. anh hy vong em anh co the ban"

From my understanding:

"i think u never tell me truth. if u have husband/bf nevermind. i hope u me can be friends"

This thread is uber interesting for me. From what started as a desire to better communicate with bx, it becomes a challenge/motivation to want to know the language/culture better out of interest.

If you want to translate this sentence to Tieng Viet, it should be like this:

"anh nghi em chua bao gio noi that voi anh. neu em co ox roi thi kg sao. anh con hy mong minh co the lam ban"

From your signature, we know that you get a lot of FOC (fuck on credit) in 2009. Because your "credit" is already in the thousands, even you pay back few hundreds now, you still win!

if you love her and you can feel that she is really in love of you, you should
not care where she was from and what she used to work. her past is over.
she done all those becos you were not there for her yet.

now, if she needs help, you 1 2 see her unhappy? a few hundreds is not
much for you but it means alot to her and her family. even 1 day if you
found out that you have been cheated, take it as a charity. at least you
have done something to make someone you love happy.

we even have strangers (begger) asking us for money.
so what is someone you LOVE? if she doesn't ask from you, ask from who?
