Re: Balibago - north of Manila
Bro,
Take a bus to Batangas port, from there take a ferry to Puerto Galera town. You can also take the hotel boat (wooden boat with bamboo wings) direct to the beach front hotel, save the bumppy jeepny ride. The journey from AC to Manila appx 100km, and another 100 km from Manila to PG. LTC |

![]() I used to fly ex-KL [by AirAsia] and the wtaring hole that I liked best is "Doll House" [with 24 hour activities]. Hotel Amsterdam used to be my favourite but alas it is too famous now that it is often fully booked. So I will pop into any hotel that has room available and is affordable.

Re: Balibago - north of Manila
Thanks for the info on PG....
I used to stay in RA a few times up till they increased the room rates. Gd clean hotel, friendly staffs and great location. But increasing prices not healthy as there many more affordable places nearby. Reasons for increasing prices are becuz the landlord increase the prices on their lease. They 2 foreign owners only own the hotel not the land. ![]() Nero and gang is too big and not really friendly. To me one of the friendliest big joints with lots of girls is Lancelot and Champagne. The rest are ok ok only. Cheers ! |

Re: Balibago - north of Manila
First, ride a jeepney to Dau station and take either a Victory Liner or Five Star bus (about P120) to Cubao Station on the EDSA. Then transfer to a Batangas Port bound liner (about P150). Alternatively, hop onto a Philippine Rabbit to Avenida station and board the southbound LRT at its Doroteo Jose station which is just a few steps from the Rabbit bus station. Then, get off at the Gil Puyat station and and continue heading south for less than a minute, keeping to the left side of the road. The bus terminal on Taft Ave right after the Gil Puyat Ave junction have very frequent buses to Batangas Port.
At Batangas Port, you can either take a ferry (P180) to the main PG port of Sabang or the secondary one at Muelle. The beaches at these towns are not as great as those further away but there is more action. If one is looking for more seclusion, then take a trike (P150 and P100 from Sabang and Muelle respectively) to White Beach. If you are lucky not to have to wait too long for the smaller & somewhat infrequent White Beach bound boats, then you are better off to go direct from Batangas to White Beach (P200). White Beach itself is also like a minature frontier town but some nice resorts at Tamaraw & Aninuan beaches (room prices range from P600 to P3000+ at low season) are nearby which can be reached on foot along the beach or a P50 trike ride. Journey times are:- AC to Manila: one-and-a-half to two hours on bus, Manila to Batangas: two to two-and-a-half hours on bus, and Batangas to PG: one to one-and-a-half hours on ferry.

Re: Balibago - north of Manila
Or if you have plenty of dough to burn, there are direct 30-minute flights from Clark to PG for USD170 thereabouts.

Re: Balibago - north of Manila
One interesting posting from another forum, given belwo ad verbatim:
"I have heard stories about this stuff happening at Blue Nile Group and some at Dollhouse over the years. It's actually made me scared to bother and look seriously in those clubs for bar fines. I was with a friend before who bar fined a woman from Blue Nile and he took her videoke, dancing, and to eat. When he got to in front of the hotel she stopped and basically refused to go in. It was already agreed upon at the club that they would be doing the deed and she was staying all night. My friend was too nice and just let her go and didn't complain. Most of the complaints I've heard about Blue Nile Group, more specifically Blue Nile and Nero's, is that they tend to bs you and try to turn your long time to short time. I've heard similar stories about Dollhouse, hence I've never bar fined from any of those groups although awfully tempted. I do want to say this, I've had really one problem bar fine who I had to kick out in all my times in AC. I think there are other factors on why certain clubs have more problems than others." Just to re-inforce my earlier experience that there is a trend being practised by Pinoy girls in AC to "cheat" unsuspecting or newbie cheongsters. Be aware.
