Day 3

After checking out went for breakfast with our mm before sending them off.. with tears in our eyes… wahahaha… no la.. not so drama… but really sianz mood

like weekend over need to book in back to camp like that.. haha. After breakfast went over to lucky hotel to XGX office to settle the MPV transport back to HKIA. They had MPVs going back every hour, but as there were a lot of people going back on Sunday, the MPVs were all full! So bros next time pls remember to book your return trip MPV timing on the first day you reach CP or whenever you can confirm so you wont kenna this kind of problem. Anyway, decided to take the other option of going back to HK via the thru train.

For bros who want to find out more abt the train service the link is here

MTR Intercity Through Train e-Ticketing Services

The train service is actually faster and smoother than going back by MPV. It takes abt 1 hour to travel from CP station to HK-Kowloon. Cost of the train ticket was abt 150rmb which is slightly cheaper as compared to taking MPV. Only problem is this train takes you direct back to Hung Hum near to Kowloon and not back to HKIA. So from Hung Hum you need to take a cab to Kowloon Airport Express Station and hop on the Airport Exp train to HKIA. This part of the trips will cost you approx another 100HKD. So in terms of cost its gonna be slightly more compared to taking MPV. But the good thing is you wont get caught in the Shenzhen customs jam, cuz if you take the train you would clear chinese customs at the CP train station and then later HK customs at Hung Hum train station in HK. The will not make any other stops inbetween CP and Kowloon.

To get to the CP train station you can just take any van/car/taxi and it should cost you only abt 15rmb as its quite near the city centre. The station is called Dong Guan Station. The ticketing counter is at the first level and departure hall is at level 3 for trains going to HK-Kowloon. If I am not wrong level 2 is for domestic trains going other chinese cities.

One thing to take note, the train service also goes to Guangzhou also, so don’t take the wrong train if not you end up further from where you want to go! And do remember to check train schedules and buy your ticket in advance cuz I believe the train might be quite full during peak periods.

So that abt it for my trip FR. Hope I manage to provide more info for bros thinking of travelling via HK. As for the happenings in CP its quite similar to all the previous FRs posted so didn’t really elabrate much.

For Bros thinking of going, 3 days is really not enough time cuz I didn’t even manage to find time to go sauna and also cuz of the weekend crowd there usually is a bit of waiting for sauna rooms and girls so decided to forgo that till next trip.

Best part about the trip (besides the many wonderful meimeis) is that can managed to meet up quite a few other bros from this forum. It was great fun hanging out and cheonging with you guys! Hopefully we can do it again sometime SOON… haha

Huatai now on wireless!

for those who need internet connection while travelling, now, you may reconsider your stay while you are in cp.

most of the hotel internet connections are with wired, but now things are changing, huatai launched the wireless connection for the guest room.

i checked the connection last week, it was good and stable.

huatai should be the first hotel that launches the wireless connection for room price below rmb300 category. and so far, i have not heard from huihua, miraton nor bandao (maybe some bros can update?); but for the rest like shangyuan, jinglang, lucky, they are still on wired connection.

(one thing that i discovered, in cp, the connection to overseas websites like sbf are slow during the day time, but it is fast after the midnight. this happened to me from hotels like shangyuan, jinglang, huatai, lucky; and even i was using 2 mbps connection directly from china telecom)

Oh ya, JY was damn packed on last saturday (March 1). We got there like 6:10 and half of the MMs were gone and
the flower street was still packed with guys looking for MMs. Walked around the flower street 4 times and finally spotted one above average MM and better grabbed her fast fast liao. Otherwise would have to sit myself that night... I felt that people are going to JY eariler now (especially on weekend). If u see many Taiwanese and HKese in CP next time and u r planning to go JY, better go earlier for better selection. Just a thought.....
