I normally change at No.39 (i think) but they penalize me for having SGD in 1k denominations.

Any seniors here can offer a little advise on possibility for a foreigner to buy landed property in HCM? I always thought foreigners not allowed to own landed housing. But on my recently trip back to Sin, this Singaporean at Joo Chiat told me he is registered as a co-owner with his vietnamese wife for a terrace.

Foreigners are not allowed to own land. U need to check with him and make sure he knows what he is doing

Most foreigners are blur f, listen to so called wife.

There are ways which the so called lawyer will advise foreigners to blend the law. One of them, he might own the terrace but not the land. It might be another contract signed by the land owner and them. If this is the case, then he is digging his own grave.

BTW, both HCMC and Hanoi have this street name, Tran Hung Dao.

all the places i went to...hanoi, hcm, phu quoc, mui ne, nha trang also has Tran Hung Dao street...and other similar street name like...Le Loi, Nguyen, Trai, etc...
