Took 7.55am ferry from Indo Falcon,reach Balai at 9:25am.After clear custom,walk 35mins to Paradise Hotel($36).Get to know Bro T at the lobby,join him to villa since he got driver.Villa still look about the same,shocked to see Top-10 is still around.Although it was a weekday,but that morning Villa is already fill up with busy customer.

Went 19Dec 2D1N with Bro T, only 2 of us on this trip.

As usual, ferry (IndoFalcon) and hotel (Maxi) are both pre-booked before travel. We reached ferry counter at 6.45am and was shocked that there were so many people travelling that day, many families and chiongsters. Those who did not book was denied from ticket as ferry is full. Anyway we queued for almost 30mins just to get ticket (S$31 per pax) and headed to clear immigration. We got on board and many people had already chopped their seats and it only departs at 8.10am which delayed almost 15mins, delayed due to no ferry parking slot for another 15~20mins at the port as many Malaysian ferries were there and can only clear custom at around 9.30am!

We chiong to take the blue van (Rp5,000 per pax) to Maxi. Hotel is FULL , many families were there vacation! Gave our bags to front desk to safe keep, changed money, S$1 = Rp9,830, when we turn around Maxi driver was already nearby us to bring us over to Villa!

Upon reaching, girls luckily are still available though many chiongsters were there. Bro T got from 12B (Rp950,000) and I rtf the same cute girl I had previously (Rp1Juta). Asked the girls to be at hotel by 11am and we went to have BKT near ferry terminal cost Rp118,000 for 2 pax, include drinks. After that we make our way back to Maxi using the blue van again. Oceana is drop off at Harbour Bay. Didn't try the other way yet but it should be around the same price for domestic ferry. Journey is 1h 30m and every hour or so there is a schedule.

Took the first ferry out of Indo Falcon. Delayed for an hour as there were too many boats arriving into Balai. Hotel we could not check in until 1pm as they were having an event.

Share with bros a trick that I use whenever I go to the Riau Islands. It is the same on all the other islands too. Although the immigrasi/customs are corrupt and will target foreigners..... there is one category of foreigners that they will never touch....... those people from the Armed Forces. This was something I learnt while serving in the SAF and having combined training with the Indons.

If you have your 11B.... place it prominently in your wallet so that the immigrasi can see it the moment he open your wallet. I always keep a photo of myself taken with other Indonesian officers with both of us in uniform. I also have another photo taken with Bambang when he was a general before he became president. The immigrasi/custom officers always "pass" me through without any trouble whenever they sight the photos even though the photos were taken several years ago and I am oredi pensioned.
