Me too, during the few times that I was there end of last year. Normally mine is between $20 - $50, but I did see before $10 and the girls just quietly accept and leave. But, of course, those girls are not good quality ones. Still remember going there once during a weekday afternoon. Now, it was happy hour and although we have not been there before during happy hour, (after experiencing queuing for an hour for a room at BS), I was really surprised that ours was the only room with customers for that afternoon.

Not sure if she meant from the time she's here, she only earned that much or she earn that amount per day. If it's $80 accumulated, then I really think it's very little since she's been here for 25 days already. But, understandable since happy hour during weekdays at MM is really ghost town. Here's her reply when I made the remark of lucky money only $10 for girls in MM:

The RED portion, I know is referring to the lucky money and don't really understand the entire meaning.

The BLUE portion, I know she says that what's the work she'll be doing here and that she must work (I guess one). But, don't really understand "voan canh em".

The MAGENTA portion, I know she's saying she's happy to know someone good like me (cos my horns haven't grow yet...). But, I'm not sure the first part when she says "lan dau tien". Is it "first time", but whats the "tien" doing inside there? Could it be tieng?

I think voan canh is the typo of "hoan canh" (environment). She wanted to say that she needs to do something to change her present environment.

A Very Useful Tip For Using VDict.com

All along, when using vdict.com to translate from TV to English, I only type in the english alphabet for the vietnamese word without the symbols. For example, the word "gian". Normally we use it when we want to say "angry". But, when we type "gian" into the translatioin box in vdict.com, we get the following:

gian
noun: apartment, compartment; room
adj: tricky; dishonest; disloyal

Hmm... not really means "angry", right? So, how?

Try this.. After typing in gian in the translate box, change the match type from Exact to Fuzzy, then you click the Lookup box.

What you will see is that an entire list of probable matches for "gian" will appear as the result. It ranges from gan to giam to gian to gien to gion etc etc.

Like this, you are sure to be able to find the meaning of the word. In my example above, we are looking for "giận":

giận
verb: to be angry
- nổi giận
to be out of temper; to get angry
