Yes, indeed, dannok is more happening compare to hatyai. I would advise you to cheong dannok rather than hatyai.

Just googled abt danok and realised it's just across the malaysian-thai border.....info abt danok is scarce leh. Any experienced chiongsters willing to share a bit more info like accomodation, where to chiong, the rates. Or are there any bros planning to do danok soon.......?

Hi ~~~~ I have 2 bus tickets to Hatyai with seats in the front.

Selling at discount price... Anyone interested as my friends cannot make it
to Hatyai tomorrow .

Bus will be leaving at 6.30 tml . Bus = Grassland. ~~

Bro, read the danok thread... That's the happening place. I can't comment on Hatyai, last time was too long ago to remember anything. Nowaday, only go there to meet old friends and have a meal or so.

Stay and cheong in Danok when the sun set, when the sun rise, take a day trip to hatyai, if you are into shopping. Shopping is much much better and cheaper in Hatyai.

Hatyai still a good place to enjoy.. things are not expensive.. nowadays hotel room rates has gone down... Even from singapore to hatyai by bus.. always full... booking advance one month, at times fully book already...
