I started learning from a Vietnamese tutor, after having a bit of foundation, I continue on my own.
I regularly read about some online VN articles at http://www.sggp.org.vn
I rely a bit of imperfect translation help from http://translate.google.com/#

For me, the problem is the chance to using the language, but I have to say my pronunciation is horrible, VNese don't understand what I was talking when in Hanoi.

Lidat sure die. Come sgp school fee at least S$300/mth and lesser lessons, and the explaination may not be as clear as teacher taught in her native language

No wonder u learnt so fast and good. U engaged alot of teachers. Therefore when ppl asked me where I learnt TV, I will tell them, PAY & PAY la.

When I know u, u didnt know how to construct 1 full sentence. Now u improved liao.

Theory lesson will improved your vocabulary and comprehension, but practical lesson will improved your oral and listening.
