KTVs in Beijing

Been lurking on this forum for some time and gotten some great information so I thought I contribute something back...

Anyways, I've in Beijing for over 6 months and speak very very basic putonghua. Still a newbie when it comes to the KTV scene (I've pretty much only been to 3 KTVs - 1 ripoff and 2 budget ones).

First the rip off one....this was about a month after I've arrived in Beijing. I've heard a lot of stories from friends back home in the States of the fun you can have at these places so I was intrigue. Anyways, one night after some pretty heavy drinking at the pubs in Sanlitun, I had a sudden urge to visit a KTV. So got into a taxi and started chatting up the taxi driver with my limited putonghua on a good ktv visit (big big mistake). He then took me to one located inside a some local hotel in the area south of the Oriental Plaza (can't remember the name as I can't read Chinese and was pretty drunk). Long story short…went in, got a girl and the girl went to town on the drinks (keep opening cans of beer without finishing the old ones, pour the beer away while you're not looking, and even getting the waitress to help out on the drinks). When the bill came, it was some ridiculous amount like RMB 3000. So I refused to pay and argued with the manager, even threatening to go to the police, until the goons came in. At that point, I pretty much realized there's no way out so agreed to pay 1500 and showed them that's all I've got in the wallet (lucky they didn’t search my pockets). After a while of back and forth, they finally relented and we "settled" at 1500.

After that, swore I would never go to a KTV again unless being accompanied by someone that knows the lay of the land. That lasted for about 2 months until my patience ran out and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I researched the net to see if there's any forum that talks about Beijing KTV. Fortunately, I came across a couple of reports in the WSG forum by a guy with the handle “wujohn” (great guy with a lot of experience and informative posting of BJ ktv and sauna scenes).

Anyways, I went to one of place that WuJohn recommended call Hung Lung (红龙). This place is great but somewhat far away (in the south of 4th ring I think). The price is pretty cheap (300 room/200 girl & mami/100 waiter) though and all the girls are willing to play these erotic games with you. A few of these, by names, are:

- flower arrangement: where you try to stick tooth picks to the girls bushes with your mouth
- golf: where you try to rollup a grape from her mouth to her navel with your tongue or didi,
- windows / curtains (or something to that effect): where you she’s rolls up a piece of tissue, place on your chest, with her breast

There’s a lot more, I just don’t know the names but they all involve some sort of sexual contact or insinuation without actual intercourse or bjs. There’s another one, for example, where you both drop your undies standing, and you place your didi below here pussy from behind and just grinding her pretending you’re doing here from the behind. Besides the games, the girls can also perform a naked dance if you ask them to.

Another good thing about this place is that it is attached to a hotel and you can take a girl to one of the room for a quickie. The damage is 800 RMB to the girl, which includes the quickie and her sitting with you for the night, and RMB 100 to the house. Overall, I would say this is a good place if you want cheap KTV thrill. The things I didn’t like about it are that it is far from the CBD area, the rooms are a bit run down, and the girls are just 6’s and 7’s, at best, and look like they’ve just come from the village.

As for the last KTV I went to, it is the 北方鑫柜 which I got from the recommendation of the bros here (Thanks Man!!!). The girls and decos here are definitely better than Hung Lung. The girls available for dabao though seems to be of poorer quality than those that only offer in-room companionship. This may be because I always go there pretty late (after 9 pm) so most of the good ones may have been taken. In terms of games, I believe they only play the usual drinking games and allow some light roaming inside the room. Nothing too naughty I suppose. Also I’m not sure about the dabao situation here as the girls available for dabao just didn’t interest me. Having said that, one of the mami though, Chang Hung, is pretty hot. If anyone’s got any info on whether she’s available, PLEASE do tell.

So that’s pretty much my 2 cents of the BJ’s KTV scene from my experience. I’m looking to try some of the cat 400/500 places to see the better quality girls. But these seem pricey for just one person to visit. So if there’s anyone is interested in going to one of the cat 400/500 places recommended here, please pm me.
