Day 2

After the first nite was a bit afraid that rest of the trip will be bored due to first nite selection, went for lunch with my friend & discuss where to go, my friend decided to call the amazon gal to chio out to pub, after some chat decided will go California red, the gal brought out a friend too, rest in hotel till 8plus then went for dinner after tat proceed to california red.

I stayed in Miraton Hotel, choose that hotel due to the convenience, hotel is ok, prices of hotel is ok too but due to the deposit spoilt my feeling a bit, will probably stayed in swan lake area next time as my friend told me that area more happening & most of the ktv gals stayed around there, maybe can pick up a few

You can use your credit card to sign for the deposit. It's a breeze or alternatively if you book via Golfy only 300rmb needed for your whole stay.

Miraton is located in the Orchard road of CP vs Geylang area which is where Tian Er Hu is in. A red light area.

Beside the convenience and class, dont ever take safety for granted in China.

This is a mistake of mine, as i was working the day before i fly, packed my stuff in a rush, when reached there found out i only bring my debit master card which not recognised there, sob sob so lan lan pay cash, my friend don't have credit card, but end of the day think back also gd just deposit the money so have some spare cash on the last when leaving.

Since you're staying at the Miraton - try using your debit card at the ATM there. Both my Los Angeles BA and all my Hong Kong debit/credit cards work there as well as at the ATM in Swan Lake hotel.

Yes, that's what I was thinking - but then I saw the ad by Gofly and it does say that if you stay at the Miraton - no matter for how long - that the deposit required is only RMB 300.

Which brings up the question - how do they manage to do this? Isn't it a bit dangerous for GoFly? I mean, yeah, their office is downstairs at the Miraton Lobby - but what if its like acdi-rxz who's got 2 rooms and staying for that long? What's to stop ANYBODY from just depositing RMB 300, stay a while and just walk out?
