Hello, a very very newbie here, on my third visit to KL but just heard a story from a friend about this Pudu scene.
I'm an Indonesian who speak veru fluent English, what are my chances of getting good deal? Planning to visit this afternoon, only here til Monday.
Where exactly is ACE? Is it Peng Hwa or any thing? Is it in the Pudu Market? Sorry, I still got nothing on the place, that's why I came to the forum. Been reading back pages but still need more information. Thanks.

With a bit of negotiation, you won't have a problem getting an oldy/fugly for 50 RM, a decent Viet for 70 RM, or a queen of the place for a 100 RM.

Your language ability makes no difference, may well be deaf-mute, just negotiate by typing in the number on the phone if needed. The transactions are basic, Bahasa may work for you just as well as English (girls are not locals, mostly Vietnamese and Chinese, but they'd know just a few words of either).

Yes, as long as you stay within the boundaries. Actually, I'd say it's far safer than the awfully run down and dirty looks would suggest. People running the show would not like much if customers got randomly robbed or hurt... but if you get too drunk and disruptive, and don't leave when asked, they might knock you around a bit (seen this happen).
