From Bkk better change to CM gon, still have city activities and a bit kampong feel like 10-20 years ago Sg or Malaysia........if go to CR, think will be like 20-30 years backward. Anyway u can always rent condo or house for shorter period to get the feel first, best if can rent a car or bike to move around and decide better........after decided where u want to live, u can buy later.

Sinkie in CM that I know of already around 100+, a lot more I don't know and is not in our fb group.........CR so far no member yet.



Out of the 100+ sinkie in CM, we have our own smaller group, some is hokkien and some is angmo type etc. like tonight we going to 20th karaoke around 8-10 bros will join, these are more closer kakis we use to go out together, another 10-20 we know each other and only sometime will meet but not often.....all the rest we know in fb but not meet in person yet.....some funny people we also dun want to meet or know them also.

Most of us are on spouse visa, some is using volunteer visa......personally feel more easy to get a gf as compare to bkk as most girls in bkk are there to work for money while CM girls who stay in CM are not so money face (although not all) as compare to those living in bkk.

Since u r single man, is so much easier to move and just move for couple of months to try......even some married sg man also bring sg wife and kids to live in CM now.

For citizenship, u need to speak Thai and sing Thai national anthem. Just get a non immigrant visa, like spouse, retirement. If u have money, u can buy visa to stay in Thailand.

That new BCM at the Star Avenue Lifestyle Mall beside bus station Jiak Mee? you must have our kakis to bring u there i guess. Yes is own by Singaporean with Thai wife but he is in sg while his wife is running it with her sister (Uni student chio bu 555) and mom.

We use to go Jiak Mee few times weekly to support fellow Singaporean business.....hope they can do well so we can continue to have sg food in CM

Most of us here got Thai wife and kids, for my case is morning wife send to kids and she go gym and marketing......i wake up noon time wake for her to come back with food, after makan and kopi I go gym and pick kids after gym while she either stay home watch thai soap or go cafe with her own puying kaki.

Sometime I will meet sinkie for kopi & BCM day time and sometime night time meet for drinks at some local bar with SYT. Some days friend cook and we go gathering etc, quite a lot of things to do if u got a group of friends and your partner.......even a 64 retire uncle also can get a gf for 4 years or more, and now he's 68 and still going to gym with his gf.

After all expenses, if one shop can earn 30,000thb in profits...of cos not enough. but if branch out...into 10 shops/stalls then will be 300.000/ mth.

Honestly from my opinion, its all up to individuals expectations.
If for me, mostly will be go to self-substain. Live just outside the city not too far, have a land big enough to farm hensx20, ducksx20, goatsx3, pigx2(Vertical shelter) few storeys, all sorts of veges/beans(vertical farming)
vertical to save space. Have a moderate pond size x 2 for prawn and fish rearing. All excess can sell to market or neighbours.

Managing 1 shop is totally different from managing a chain of shops.
