WEN KANG JI WANTON NOODLE
#B1-29, 9.30am to 7.30pm daily
Super slow service. The guy doing the cooking did not appear to be able to multi-task (or did not want to). There were 8 customers ahead of me in the queue (ordering between two to five plates of noodles), and my wait was 50 min!
Char siew is good, but certainly not the best.
Noodles nothing special.
Wanton ditto.
Chilli doesn't taste like the type suitable for wanton noodles.
Soup was very good - they probably used pig bones to boil for more than a day as the soup was milky.
On the whole, it did not feel like I was eating a plate of wanton noodles, and so it certainly wasn't worth the wait for me.

I like crispy epok epok (malay curry pok) and Epok Epok Story at Berseh Food Centre is one of the best for me. At $2 for 3 good sized ones its a deal made in heaven even if epok epok is not your favourite thing. I'm not connected to them in anyway, so i'm spilling the beans cos their too good to miss.
