I think it wasn’t anything special, nor she did look like her photo

That's what it is for most new shops today. Paying $50-60 gets you nothing fancy unless you upgrade package. This is just deliberate inflation in today's market.

We have YPs, rich ah sias, HNW people who used to hang out at other playgrounds pre-covid. Now they are penetrating this playground and are willing to splurge on MLs 150-200% more than the standard prices.

We have a good community here who are trying to curb this, but IMO I don't think we can.
