Is Liverpool the team in white playing away?? Cos hell Sunderland seems to be the better team in passing and attacking play...

Knn just as I was typing this another goal from Sunderland....looks like Liverpool is the new whipping boy of the BPL..

Another disappointing result against what has always be a lower team...what is going wrong with the team. Before the equaliser, Gerard was actually spending most of his time near to the back four..even the commentator noted that..and the passing was simply atrocious..Sunderland pass and held the ball much better then Liverpool..

Cannot imagine next week match against Blackpool at Anfield whose away form is better than home form

Blackpool away win against Wigan 4-0, lost to Arsenal 0-6, win against Newcastle 2-0 and lost to Chelsea 0-4.
Liverpool home draw with Arsenal 1-1, win against West Brom 1-0 and draw with Sunderland 2-2.

I only saw the last 30 mins of the game but it was enough to make me puke. On another day, without the luck of the bizarre first goal, we would have been soundly beaten.

Something is terribly wrong with the team. There is the problem of personnel. Torres is below par and can no longer play up front alone. There is no width - Cole cuts inside far too often and Milan is not a winger, Maxi is off form. Stevie played so much of the 2nd half deep in midfield, why?

There is also the problem of confidence. It's drained from the players like Lucy bitten by Dracula.

Some of the blame must go to Roy. He has not had much time to work with the players, Ok, but he has not lifted the team morale or improved our attacking play.

only watch the 2nd half..
we're chasing the game, can't even string few meaningful passes together and offer no threat at all..!!!2nd to every ball, struggled to hold on the possession...
for a moment, i thot i'm watching the repeat telecast of our away game against man utd..
another goal conceded from cross from our left, and our defender was beaten in the air again, tis time johnson was guilty of ball watching...
agger not fully to be blamed, the cross is from high up the field, it's cole who din track back to help out...

sadly, RH din seem know wat to do either... he still couldn't decide how and where to play both raul merieles n gerrard in the same team..!!
why can't he be more attacking and drop poulsen, play gerrard n merieles in CM and cole behind torres with kuyt n jovanovic / pacheco / tom ince in the wings...!!! we're supposed to be the "Big 4" playing at HOME..!!!
people complained tat rafa was defensive, RH is no better...!!!

i agree tat it's not an achievement 4 gaining A POINT @ home against Sunderland.
If these goes on, The Reds could end the season in mid table.
Even out of reach 4 a Europa spot.

The only bright spark in the whole match was perhaps the first 15 mins or so and Torres had a goal disallowed for offside. That was just the only flash of brilliance from him other then his contribution to the equalizing goal for Gerard. There after he simply faded away again. Overall, this is definitely not a typical Liverpool performance or has this come to be the norm??
