You are of course correct but in the past, I have had gals from the old "night market" on Dongxing San Jie who actually works at some KTV or another; when they couldn't get a sitting for the night at their KTV, they would go there and market themselves for (at that time) RMB 130 as a BBS gal.

This night market was shut down a couple or so years ago and the operators had moved it to the 3rd floor of the Jun Hui hotel (when rates went up to 150 and eventually 200) in front of the Manhattan serviced apartments. Here one could still find the odd KTV gal moonlighting there as the night market opens - and close - a lot later than the rest of the BBS's.

Haven't been back to the place ever since the recent crack-down when it was shut down and am now wondering if it has re-opened. Used to be great place to go to if anybody got played by a gal/left empty handed after a KTV session.

I think its got a lot to do with just too much drugs by the gals from the further end houses.

Yeah, I miss the old days when we'd get in one of those bread van buses, drive down there and be surrounded by the gals all clamoring to get in the van with us - a ritual every time any car with punters drove by, and one happening every few feet as we drive down the various houses!

And yeah, I've had some real great finds there - and at one point, I actually even preferred the night market gals over those from the regular BBS's as they were really lots of fun and quite a few gems amongst all that mountain of coal! LOL! In fact a few bros would actually party at a KTV and to save money PLUS know that they were gonna get serviced better with a night market gal, they would actually on purpose dump their KTV gals.

Just a few years ago, most towns/population areas used to have LOT more of these type areas, some even way cheaper and geared mainly for the local blue collar clients; Chang Ping's was a cluster of shacks behind the swimming pool behind the Walter Hotel that my friends and I term "the catacombs," and where a pop can be had for RMB 30. And when I say shacks, I do mean shacks/hovels with dirt floor, a straw mat covering a wooden plank for you to the deed within 15 minutes and a bucket of water in the corner to clean up!

I never had the balls to do any of these gals but newbie friends used to always ask to be taken on a tour of the place - and its amazing how young (and of course old) some of these gals were. In fact, we had a friend who loved going to this place and had taken a series of quite high quality photos of the various gals he did and posted them up on another board.

But you are right, there IS a lot fewer of these BBS's all over China these days. I don't know if good or not, but I do believe that its a function of the better economic opportunities in China as a whole and thus gals having more choices to earn money instead of just by spreading their legs. Good for them, but probably not quite as good for us mongers.

Yes, you are right about DGG being too commercialized.

But this is probably not the only reason, as I remember other previous great China mongering spots which are now a shadow of its former glory.

Look at Hainan - man...a few years ago, that was THE mongering destination where what I describe happening at the Night market being the norm, or zhuhai in the era of the Lien Hua Lu street walkers, full course saunas as cheap as RMB 240 all in and RMB 150 BBS's all over - now all Struck Hard and pretty thoroughly cleansed by the LE.

On top of that, IMHO its also got a lot to do with the general rise of China's standard of living and much higher salaries in other professions, making hooking comparatively that much less attractive - whilst still fraught with all the dangers, shame and whatever.

And of course the fact that CP/DGG is now such an "International playground" attracting punters from all over the place, who thinks that prices are still very cheap comparatively, are willing to shell out the big bucks to satisfy their requirements and thus driving prices higher still.

I guess all one can do is to enjoy CP/DGG whilst we still can!!
