I actually bought a doll during the covid lockdown period.....total cost me 4k +....the doll itself maybe 2.5k. Its all the misc things that add up to around 1.5k

Was it worth it ?? Well i used her for around 8 months and saved alot of money because that time geylang closed and ML/FL cost me around $150 to $200 per week, once a week bonk. Horrible quality all fake photos.

But now geylang open liao.....my doll collecting dust only.......geylang is so much better then ML/FL. If u talk about money, then bonk my doll is still the cheapest, afterall i already sink in the money to buy her AND maintain her properly

But geylang so many syt and hot bodies to explore....hahaha.....no time for my doll lah...

For now, my doll is a very expensive toothbrush holder.

One thing i regret is not taking the implanted hair option. Why ? Because implanted hair cost like 500usd and i thought use wig can already, still can change hair style.

However this is wrong, because doll heads are small and when u wear the wig, it will not fit properly. My doll will be much more beautiful if i had implanted hair on her head. Also good quality wig in SG is expensive, about 100+ while those taobao wig keep dropping "hair" all over my bed and my room.

If u buy your own doll, i say go for implanted hair.....the beauty is worth the cost

Interesting thread.

Many years ago I did bought 2 dolls from dsdoll.

One cost around 5-6k including shipping. I even bought the hanging rack coz need to wash and dry.

The thing about silicon dolls in our local climate is that.. if you dont take care of it, it will grow mold. Then there's storage issue, I have to store them under my storage bed. These dolls are really heavy and it is troublesome to use, especially when you need to clean thoroughly after each use. End up I find them useless.

End of the day, I threw them all away when I met my then GF. Throwing away is also a problem. I had to put them into sleeping bag and dispose them in the bin centre away from my house. It is like disposing a corpse like that.

It was a nice experience but I will not do it again.

Nice ! Dsdoll quite good brand. Yes storage and maintenance are issues, its easier juz to go geylang, bonk already still can buy food and go back. Doll u bonk finish still must clean and dry

I guess it depend if u rather go geylang and come back or stay at home to clean the doll
